Kidzone’s aim is to provide good quality, professional care for children aged from three to fourteen year olds.

The activities provided for the children will be relevant to their age, abilities, social, ethnic or religious backgrounds and personal development. The centre is to provide a relaxed and stimulating period of time and the children will be given a choice of activities e.g. sports, board games, arts and crafts, quiet area, home corner and more, which can be freely chosen or if required enhanced with the intervention of a caring, professional staff base.

The centre and all the staff members are registered with Ofsted, on the last inspection were given a “Good” rating; Alderman Jacobs Centre, October 2009; Park Lane Centre, May 2009. All staff are CRB cleared and qualified first aiders.
Four members of staff are qualified to diploma level 3 in playwork, two staff members are quailified to diploma level 3 in early years, three members of the staff are qualified to level 2 in playwork and are currently studying diploma level 3.

5 hour flexi-option (holidays)
5 hour flexi-option is any 5 hour period of the day booked in quarter hour intervals
E.g. 8:30am-1:30pm.
 
Help with or reducing your child care fees

This is possible because we are Ofsted registered.
Inland Revenue tax credits will pay a percentage of your child care costs provided you are eligible.
 
Nursery Educational funding
Kidzone can offer "Nursery Educational Funded" places for eligible three and four year olds.
This funding can be used in part or full depending on requirements. 
Funding will change from September 2010 to 15 hours/week and used as required within our operating hours of 7:30am to 6:00pm, for more information please contact Alderman Jacobs centre on 01733 206880
 
Child care vouchers
We accept several voucher schemes operated by employers which can reduce your national insurance payments, including ‘Busy Bees’, ‘Accor’ and ‘Care 4’, if your employer operates a different voucher system we would be delighted to register with them.
 
Budget planner
Spread your term time and holiday fees over fifty weeks of the year therefore avoiding larger costs in the holidays.
